Wildflowers for you...

My business cards are now printed on handmade, tree-free, plantable seed paper! In case you are unfamiliar with this, each piece of plantable paper is embedded with wildflower seeds that will sprout! You can plant this small piece of paper either directly into the ground or in a pot, and with some TLC it will sprout into pretty, pretty wildflowers. The paper is a lovely neutral color and has the perfect texture.

Take a look!

I'm happy to be able to offer environmentally-friendly cards with my jewelry. This paper was handmade in the highlands of Nepal, and is 50% recycled content. The process really is amazing! I would love to learn how to make my own paper. Embedded in these cards are a combination of tiny seeds including 15 annual species: red corn poppy, corn poppy, spurred snapdragon, catchfly, english daisy, showy evening primrose, gold yarrow, roman chamomile, tussock bellflower, foxglove, fringed sagewort, white yarrow, red yarrow, monkeyflower, and creeping thyme - in case you were at all wondering. :)

These seeds found in my cards will tolerate partial shade, need 4 hours a day of direct sunlight and grow to about 3 inches. Plant in a pot or directly in your garden and cover card with just 1/8" of soil and keep moist until established.

Now you can have jewelry and flowers delivered to your door when you order from my shop. ;)

  1. This is awesome! I can't wait to try it. I'm sure I'm not allowed to plant flowers at the new apartment but if they are wildflowers nobody will know it was me :)

    1. Thanks, Mer! You can actually plant the card in a small pot and just keep it near sunlight. I can't wait to see your new apartment!
