{Adventures} Uptown Columbus, Georgia

This past fall, we explored our new city: Columbus, Georgia. It was really fun to venture around this new-to-us area and discover little unique treasures about the town. Walking the brick streets lined with cute stores (even a general store) while drinking a classic Coke is exactly why I love exploring new towns and cities by foot.

The Chattahoochee River flows alongside Uptown Columbus.

Pretty brick pathways and shops.

An uptown visit is not complete without glass-bottled Coca Cola!

Columbus is an old factory town, and lots of the former architecture remains or has been transformed into new stores and restaurants. We thought it was great that it hadn't been completely destroyed, because it definitely adds charm. :)

Fall leaves & railroad tracks.

I'm looking forward to learning more about this place, and especially hunting down any farmers markets and thrift stores/flea markets that Columbus has to offer over the next few months or so. Here's to our new home!
