{Adventures} Spring Fling Carnival, Columbus, GA

A few weeks ago, Sam and I heard there was a carnival comin' to town. I was there at "free admission" and "funnel cake" but we were happy to catch an alligator show, too.

Can you believe this was the first time I've ever tried a corn dog?! I don't know how I've managed to go to so many festivals and carnivals and have never tried a corn dog, but it's true. Once Sam found out, I had no other dinner choice.

We got to hold baby gators. The one that I'm holding is a rare albino gator! There are fewer than fifty in the United States, so I'm not even ashamed that I paid 10 bucks for the photo (and PS I never pay for photos like this, so...).

Tiny carnival at sunset.

After leaving the carnival, we enjoyed our cotton candy by the beautiful Chattahoochee River.

  3. You had never had a corn dog before? How can you go to carnivals or the Dixie Classic fair and never be tempted?? They are soooo good!

    1. I know, right?!? I don't know how it happened. I guess at carnivals I always gravitated towards filling up on funnel cake... but I was missing out for sure!
